Q: sports cars for under 10000?
Hey everyone. Im looking for a used car under 10k that is cheap to upgrade.
A: Don’t listen to these guys. If you’re looking for an actual sports car instead of an economy car with a bit of extra power, here’s my advice:
American:
Late 90’s or early 2000’s Camaro SS or Mustang GT. A fair amount of power and not too terrible handling. Easy to find people to work on them.
Might even find a late 80’s or early 90’s Corvette for under 10k.
Asian:
91-99 Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo
91-99 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4
91-99 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS-T or GS-X / Eagle Talon TSi
91-95 Toyota MR-2 Turbo
Not much for european in that price range that I’d really consider a sports car.
If you take a little time and look, you can find any of these cars for under $7,000. Many of them you can find for under $5,000.
Q: what is a sporty cheap car 20th century un der 10000?
what is a sport cheap or under 10000 or even better under 6000 that i could buy my son first time car and 20 century
A: 1995-1999 Nissan Maxima GLE.
It was my first car and I am not going to stop driving it until it is dead. Before buying one, I read consumer reviews on used Maximas and they all agree that it is THE best car for the money. They are known as the “4 door sports car,” meaning they’re fast but won’t double your insurance.
Mine came with leather seats, power everything, A/C, heating, a Bose sound system, tape deck, CD player, and all the works. It cost me $4900. They also have the well known Nissan “chain engines,” meaning that they replaced all of the engine belts with chains, giving the car incredible dependability and minimal maintenance.
Give them a serious consideration. I haven’t even stuck the tip of my finger in on all of the good things about this car.

A: You should also consider that such a car may be expensive to insure. Check your insurance rates before buying one, for example here – carinsurance.yoll.net

A: 3000GT VR4 is definately the way to go. I paid $6500 for mine stock and the total amount I spent on aftermarket parts put the final price to just over $9000 and it has over 600hp. You cant beat that bang for the buck. And they look great!

A: i been answering this same question all afternoon
here is the advice i gave another Ask-er on buying a car it depends on how much money you are going to spend.
her budget was $8,000
now it may be a little different from your situation, but i hope it helps
Question to ask your self to finding a good car to buy
1 good gas mileage
2 dependable or do you want a working progress (fixer upper) not because you are a girl, if you like working on cars great.
3 number of people will be riding on a daily bases
4 a used car has history (problems the owner will not disclose)
5 a new car will have warrinties and it feels good to be the first owner
call your mom’s insurance company to get pre-qualified. know how much you are going to be paying for insurance
now the $8,000. go to a bank ask if they offer a CD saving that you can start and barrow against it plus 50% so you have $12,000
this don’t mean you go out and buy an expesive car. you will still be making payments, smaller payments
plus after you pay off the loan the cash is your also.
now look on the internet and find the new car you want and make an offer to pay cash and print out accept deal
if it to far to get it try local dealers go talk to management see if they can match the offer and offer $200. above what they paid and show them the money.
after you find the car total only take that amount plus tax .08% = $80.00 per thousand very with each state and license about $500.
there is a maintain coverage they will tack on tell them you don’t want it, it will be between 1200 to 1800 extra you don’t need to pay being a new car it factory covered already so watch the numbers if they say you need it
get up and walk out.
you will drive out with the car you want with thousands saved.
hope this helps
Q: Some awesome, cheap muscle cars?
I’m looking for a first car and want a really cool muscle car that is a beautiful make but relatively unpopular so I can be original and spend under $10000. Also if you know of any ads to find 1967 mustangs under that amount, let me know.
A: AMC is usually cheap. As of now the mid-late 70;s cars are cheap (prices are rising)
Base model cars are cheaper than their performance counter parts (prices are rising) Ie Lemans/tempest instead of a GTO
Malibu instead of a chevelle ss
Four doors are cheap too. As a matter of fact you can find some four door cars in great shape that will need very little for a low low price
more money to hop it up
Q: where to find a 2005 mustang under $10000?
is it possible to buy a 2005 mustang(not salvaged)under $10000?i’ve tried autotrader, cars, and automotives.com but to not much avail.Any other sites that sell cheap mustangs? Also,if i was to buy a mustang from a dealer, how much can i lower the dealer down to?the economy is doing pretty bad right now so i was hoping to use that towards my advantage to possibly lower a dealer or individual sellers asking price,if it acually works.Any advice would be appreciated.
A: Autotrader has 170 of them.
Q: Where can I find a cheap American Muscle car?
I would like to buy any (preferrably a Dodge Charger or challanger) in the ’60s or ’70s under $10000. I do not care about rust, unless I can put something in the car (anwhere) and it will fall though. Thank you for whoever cann help me! Any suggestions are accepted! Thank you again!
A: There are lots of places to find muscle cars in your price range.
If you want to find one locally, you can go to craigslist.com or kijiji.com and search in your region. Please note that just like eBay, there are scammers on these types of websites and anything that sounds too good to be true probably is.
Speaking of eBay, you can also find muscle cars in your area by modifying the search on eBaymotors.com to a certain number of miles from your zip code. Be sure to read eBay’s car buyer’s guide so you won’t fall for a scam.
Another option is to find out about local muscle car clubs. They usually have classified ads on their websites. Buying a muscle car from another muscle car lover is a great way to get a car that has been taken good care of by a knowledgeable person. You can go to Yahoo and type in the words “muscle car” and your city or region to find these clubs.
I have a website that is all about finding a muscle car, so if you are interested in using online classifieds or internet dealers or other options, there is lots of information that will help you. The link is in the sources below.
Best of luck to you! You can find a great muscle car in your price range (and it doesn’t have to be a rust bucket) but it will take patience and time. It took me 14 months to find my 1972 Dodge Dart Swinger but I got what I wanted in the price range I could afford.
Q: What is a good first car?
I have been looking at cars and i found a mazda rx8 and a mitsubishi eclipse. i want a car that is fast and cheap like under 10000$
A: Go with the mitsubishi eclipse and check with the autotrader.

Q: what is the best american car for me to get?
i know that american cars are not the best cars, but right now i have a crappy daewoo and i need to get a new car before it breaks down on me. i cant afford to get a foreign car so i am just going to get an american car for under $10000 that will last me for 5-8 years till i can afford a better quality car. i am a 20 year old college student so something small and gas friendly would be splendid.
so far my choices are
1. Chevy Cobalt
2. Saturn ION
3. Ford Focus
4. Pontiac Grand Prix
those are the only cars i can think of that are nice looking, american, and relatively cheap.
i would like to get a car that is at least an 06…and under 10grand so i can put 1200 down and pay 300 or less dollars a month.
A: Any car will last 150k miles if you take care of it. Its a myth that foreign cars will outlast any American car. Any car will be trash if you abuse it and any car will last if you take care of it.
The Cobalt and Ion are the same car. I’ve got a Cobalt with 22k miles and no problems.
The Focus is also a good car.
Personally I’d go for the Grand Prix. Its bigger and the 3.8 V6 will last forever, get 30 mpg, and still have pretty good power.
Q: First car question!!?
Hi everyone!
For all you car fanatics out there, could you give me some ideas for a first car? (I know nothing about them, i’m a girl
)
Basically i live in the UK, it needs to be cheap (definitely under £10000), and i’d like it to be girly/pretty.
I don’t mind 3 door cars, 5 doors is just as good.
Thanks!
A: The best thing to do is to calculate how much milage you think you will do in a year. If it’s going to be less than 13,000 miles then its probably best to go for a Petrol Engine. If it’s going to be much more than 13,000 miles a year then it would probably be cheaper to go for a Diesel.
I would recommend that you buy a car that is 2 or 3 years old. New cars lose around half their value in the first 2 or 3 years. If you bought a new car and spent the whole £10,000 that would be £5000 loss in depreciation in the first few years. If you buy a car that is 2 or 3 years old then it has already lost most of its value from new, and you wont lose as much in depreciation from then on.
If I was recommending a car for my sister who is also quite young and never had a car I’d recommend cars like the Suzuki Swift, Seat Ibiza, Ford Fiesta, Vauxhall Corsa, Toyota Yaris, Mitsubishi Colt, Fiat Panda, Fiat 500.
Out of those I would have the Suzuki Swift probably top of the list with the Seat Ibiza and Mitsubishi Colt also my preferred choices.
Edit: I agree with Thogo – Please stay away from all French Cars: Renault, Peugeot, Citroen and also Nissan by default as they are owned by Renault. I disagree on Fiat though as the Fiat Panda and Fiat 500 are quite good. Alfa Romeo are still pretty bad with faults, breakdowns and lots of expense and inconvenience, but their reputation is improving slowly, very slowly.
Q: Which should I get if given the choice? A 2006 Nissan Altima or a 2006 Mitsubishi Eclipse?
I have the choive of those 2 cars. They are both in the the same price zone of about 10000$. My parents want me to get an Altima because of its reliability and its just a good car. I want the eclipse because its sporty looking and is loaded for about 1000$ more. (Im talking Sunroof and 650 watt stereo system plus other goodies.) Obviously the backseat isnt great for people but the car is safe, has good mpg, looks great, and is cheap. I realize that the Eclipse is more likely to break down, but for that price range, i can get an Eclipse still under warranty (by around 1 year or 15k miles) where most 10k Altimas have over 60k miles. My mom doesnt really care what car, but my brother had a 98 Eclipse and it FELL apart so my dad is being stubborn. (I would get the GS version.) What do you think? The altima that I know will last or risk it for a nicer car IMO.
Im 17 and am getting a car because ill be going off to college.
I would like to get an Altima Coupe (Best of both worlds) but its a little to much money. Cheapest one is like 15k
A: ALTIMA
